  1. The Shaw of Redemption
  2.  
  3. It is believed that the shaw was once used by a great sorceress to prevent
  4. the creatures of darkness from entering our world.  These creatures were  
  5. some of the most terrifying creatures imaginable.  Their combined powers
  6. would have easily destroyed all of the inhabitants of our world and let 
  7. darkness rule once again.  
  8.  
  9. The sorceress Avramon called upon her gods to grant her the power
  10. to save our world.  In return for this power she would give herself to
  11. them as a sacrifice.  The gods granted her the power in the form of The 
  12. Shaw of Redemption.  Whenever she would wear this shaw, the creatures
  13. would be summoned to her, and she was able to defeat them before their 
  14. forces could grow strong enough to defeat her.

  16. After she defeated the creatures, and closed the portal between our worlds,
  17. she cast the shaw into the mountains to be hidden forever.  To insure that
  18. no one would be able to use the shaw for evil purposes, she placed a curse
  19. on it that will cause the shaw to take its holder to the Realm of Darkness
  20. before summoning the dark creatures.  This insures that the creatures can
  21. not enter our realm by the power of the Shaw.  It also poses a serious threat
  22. to any warrior that may happen upon the shaw.  After all, there has not been
  23. a force as powerful as Avramon in our world since she gave herself to her
  24. gods.

  26. For her service to mankind, the gods allowed her to take a place with them
  27. and keep a watch over the warriors of our land.  Some warriors claim
  28. that they have heard Avramon's voice warning them to stay clear of the 
  29. mountain caves and The Shaw of Redemption.  If anyone could actually find
  30. The Shaw of Redemption, it would indeed be a very valuable find.  I am sure
  31. that someone in this camp, and several others throughout the realm would
  32. pay handsomely for the chance to test the powers of The Shaw of Redemption.
